Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic breakdowns on vital foundry equipment (including furnaces, molding machines, conveyors, sand mixers, and overhead cranes)., Perform routine inspections, lubrication, filter replacements, and scheduled tune-ups on motors, belts, and drives to prevent downtime., React quickly and efficiently to urgent equipment failures on the production floor to keep lines moving., Assist in installing or dismantling machinery, setting up control systems (including PLCs), and calibrating equipment to precise standards., Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, maintain a clean and safe work area, and wear required PPE., Work closely with machine operators, supervisors, and fellow maintenance staff to continuously improve uptime and productivity.
