Schedule: M-F, 8a-5p
As a Document Control Specialist, you will be the backbone of our records management initiative. You won't just be filing papers; you will be evaluating departmental needs, classifying data, and ensuring business continuity through meticulous organization. You will play a key role in developing procedures for the creation, storage, and disposal of official records while ensuring full compliance with retention programs.
Responsibilities:
Analyze & Evaluate: Assess records volume and confidentiality to determine management needs and business continuity requirements.
System Support: Provide user support for document management systems and troubleshoot technical errors.
Compliance & Retention: Research retention values and implement quality assurance guidelines to ensure all departments follow official policy.
Process Documentation: Create clear, written workflows for managing both electronic and physical record types.
Collaboration: Work across departments to identify vital records and implement protection protocols.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
PBI Experience: Previous experience with Power BI is a significant plus.
Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work effectively across different workgroups to gather and analyze user information requirements.Experience
