The Document Preparation Specialist is responsible for preparing physical documents for
scanning and digital conversion. This role ensures documents are accurately organized,
processed, and reassembled while meeting quality standards, security requirements, and
project deadlines.

Remove bindings, staples, clips, and other fasteners according to project requirements.
Organize and sort documents based on established procedures.
Prepare documents for scanning in accordance with client specifications.
Perform quality checks to ensure document accuracy and completeness.
Consistently meet established quality and productivity standards.
Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with all security and SOC requirements.
Reassemble documents into their original binders, folders, shelves, or boxes upon
project completion.
Meet client turnaround times and project deadlines.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- Prior document preparation, records management, or production experience
preferred.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to identify and distinguish between multiple document types.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow written instructions and work independently.
Physical Requirements & Workplace Expectations
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and repetitive hand movements.
- Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Scheduled breaks must be observed.
- Cell phone use is prohibited during operations.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
