The Patient Transport Driver provides non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) for individuals who require assistance getting to and from medical appointments, dialysis centers, or hospitals. This role ensures that patients-especially seniors and those with disabilities-are transported with dignity and care.

Door-to-Door Assistance: Physically assist patients from their homes into the vehicle and safely into their medical destination.
Safety Securing: Operate wheelchair lifts and utilize specialized tie-downs to ensure the safety of non-ambulatory passengers.
Health Monitoring: Maintain basic awareness of patient well-being during transit and follow emergency protocols if a medical situation arises.
Confidentiality: Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and the handling of medical records.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Skills:
Bilingualism: Fluency in Spanish and English to assist diverse patient populations.Certifications: Current CPR and First Aid certifications.

Valid Driver???s License: Non-CDL Class C License with a clean driving record.
Patient Handling: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility aids like walkers or canes.
