- Perform EHS preventative maintenance and inspection of assigned equipment, in accordance with regulatory requirements.- Seeks to acquire new skills and abilities in order to keep current on EHS requirements.- Improve upon and develop EHS programs and supporting resources and integrate these procedures into existing facilityprocesses. - Provide guidance to internal customers on potential improvements. - Assist Leadership Team with driving Safety as a value and encouraging employee engagement and ownership. - Assist with EHS training modules and process for employee development.- Conduct ergonomic assessments and identify workstation and process improvements based on data and ergonomic designcriteria. - Assist with Job Hazard Analyses and risk assessments.- Assist with EHS data trend analysis, statistical reports and problem solving to reduce incident rates and environmental metrics. - Assist with Sustainability initiatives including Zero Waste to Landfill and Energy Conservation.- Complete environmental inspections and corrective actions. - Maintain existing SDS system and ensure new materials and products have appropriate SDS that are communicated to employees.- Track, maintain and close-out EHS related near miss reports.- Participate in EHS Safety Committee meetings.- Communicate EHS material through local EHS intranet site, articles, newsletters, signage, etc.- Provide the general safety training requirement for the program.- Monitor the effectiveness of the program by random audits of the daily inspection checklists and monitoring of equipmentoperation.- Evaluate designated areas for forklift use.- Must implement and administer the Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) policy.- Verify that all employees who operate or work near PIV?s are properly trained.- Maintain written records of operator training on each model of PIV and the name of the trainer.- Maintain written records of the frequent and annual inspections performed by the PIV owner, including the date and anyproblems found, the date when repaired, and the name of the person performing the repairs.- Maintain written records of the name and purchaser of each PIV.- Make recommendations for revisions if necessary.- Establish expected operating conditions for forklift and send to the EHS to review prior to operation.- Ensure the department has adequate trainers to maintain qualified operators.

Education:- High School Diploma or GED required, AA/BS/BA preferred in Industrial Hygiene, Industrial Engineering, Life Safety,Environmental Engineering, Environmental Studies, Occupational Health and Safety.
