Inventory Management & Asset Accountability-Issuance & Tracking: Issue tools and equipment to field workers; maintain meticulous, accurate records of all items issued and returned.-Asset Recovery: Proactively track down, locate, and recover lost or misplaced tools and equipment.-Auditing: Prepare periodic inventory reports and maintain a highly accurate perpetual inventory system of all tools and equipment.-Vendor Rental Tracking: Monitor and keep precise track of third-party equipment rentals utilized on various job sites and projects to manage costs and return timelines.-Marking: Permanently mark and uniquely identify all company tools and equipment for tracking and security.Logistical Operations & Receiving-Receiving: Receive, unpack, log, and organize incoming tools, equipment, and supplies into their designated storage locations.-Shipping & Logistics: Load and unload trailers for equipment deliveries.-Field Delivery: Personally deliver essential tools or equipment directly to job sites and field workers when required.Maintenance, Repair & Procurement-Inspection: Inspect and measure tools and equipment for defects, safety hazards, and excessive wear; report significant damage or wear to upper management.-Servicing: Hands-on repair, service, and lubricate tools and equipment to ensure operational readiness and extend asset lifespan.-Procurement & Stocking: Requisition and keep a steady supply of essential spare parts; submit stock requisitions to replenish tool inventory as needed.Supervisory & Team Leadership-Directly supervise 1 to 2 employees in the Equipment Control department.-Execute supervisory duties strictly in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws.-Plan, assign, and direct daily workloads; train team members on safety and standard operating procedures.-Appraise employee performance, reward high achievers, and administer discipline fairly when required.-Actively address staff complaints and resolve operational problems swiftly to maintain team efficiency.
