This is a full-time on-site role for an Estimator / Project Manager located in Suwanee, GA. The Estimator / Project Manager will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, project budgets, and managing construction estimation tasks. Responsibilities:
Detailed Costing: Prepare precise cost estimates and budgets for commercial projects, including high-performance ballistic, thermal, and hurricane-impact doors.
Application Engineering: Act as a technical consultant to recommend hardware solutions and ensure architectural specs meet safety and quality standards.
Spec Review: Identify and correct vendor shortcuts or subpar specifications to maintain the company's "island of quality" reputation.
Lifecycle Oversight: Manage projects from stadium-scale to local schools, ensuring delivery stays within financial and timeline constraints.
Team Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between internal engineering, tech support, and the client to ensure seamless project execution.
High-Volume Management: Efficiently handle a steady flow of projects within a fast-paced, 35-person team environment.
Quality Advocacy: Ensure no damaged or missing components reach the client by rigorously vetting vendor shipments.
Support the migration from Microsoft Dynamics to the proprietary internal ERP tool.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Bachelor?s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred
Prior experience with architectural or engineering projects is a plus
