Operators will also troubleshoot mechanical or material flow issues, perform basic preventative maintenance, maintain a safe and clean workspace, and accurately log production output, material usage, and quality checks. This role is ideal for candidates with mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn specialized manufacturing skills.
Responsibilities:
Machine Operation: Set up, start, and monitor extrusion lines to ensure continuous and efficient production.
Quality Control: Perform regular inspections of extruded products to ensure they meet strict diameter, thickness, and structural specifications.
Color Matching: Monitor and adjust color concentrates to ensure product consistency (critical for quality standards).
Troubleshooting: Identify mechanical issues or material flow problems and make real-time adjustments.
Maintenance: Perform basic preventative maintenance and keep the work area clean and safe.
Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of production output, material usage, and quality checks.
Working hours: Various Shifts Available
Skills:
Prior manufacturing experience, especially in extrusion
Mechanical aptitude and comfort using tools
Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
Experience using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures)
Visual accuracy for color matching
Basic math skills for material ratios and production calculations
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical industrial environment

Reliability: Good attendance and ability to work assigned shift
Physical stamina for long periods of standing and lifting materials
