Role Highlights

What You'll Do
- Operate Equipment: Assist with and perform the placement of aerial and buried fiber using Directional Drill Rigs, Mini Excavators, and Trenchers.
- Technical Labor: Use hand tools, cable locators, and test equipment to install enclosures, vaults, pedestals, and handholes.
- Field Maintenance: Perform pole climbing, use bucket trucks, and assist with fiber splicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
- Safety & Logistics: Transport construction equipment to worksites and ensure all work is performed in accordance with state and local regulations.
- Documentation: Complete related paperwork and use dispatching applications accurately and timely.

What You'll Need
- Experience: 6+ months in customer service, electrical/utility construction, OR technical certification, OR military service.
- Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a Class A CDL (training provided!).
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (occasionally 100+ lbs), climb poles/ladders, and work in various weather conditions (trenches, crawl spaces, etc.).
- Technical Aptitude: Horizontal directional drilling experience is preferred but not required; must be able to operate manual transmissions.
- Reliability: Strict adherence to attendance guidelines and a commitment to safety training.
