Job Description:
As a Floating Machine Operator, you are working with team members for a common goal of reaching productivity standards while using food safety principals and documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate up to nine different machines including grinders and choppers
- Carefully measure and weigh ingredients
- Clean food manufacturing equipment
- Follow SOPs to ensure production runs are completed in a timely manner
- Use basic math skills to calculate injection percentages and mixing requirements
- Perform general labor tasks as a Floating Operator
- Assisting in other Production/Manufacturing areas as needed
Education: High School
Experience: 6 months
Physical:
- Ability to work around raw meat in a cool, damp environment
- Ability to work in colder temperatures, ranging 36-50 degrees
- Ability to follow direction and work with a team
- Ability to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and bend frequently
