      We are seeking a Staff Site Supervisor to over see all Spherion employees working at the client worksite.Responsibilities:SAFETY ??? This position is responsible for preventing employees??? incidents of injury or equipment damage.Provides site specific training on work rules and safe work practices for all new hires.Conducts annual retraining and certification for forklift operators.Conducts investigations on incident reports involving Spherion employees.Implements corrective actions for findings of incident investigations and safety audits.Conducts proactive safety audits of work activities and work environment.Stewards all employee training records.Completes process for random drug screening and annual audiometric testing.Enforces site safety rules.Compiles and updates Job Loss Analysis for warehouse activities.When appropriate, escorts employee to physician appointments for work related injury.Places order for PPE.Researches innovations in safe equipment/working practices and proposes improvement.Prevents congestion in the warehouse.QUALITY ??? This position ensures work activities in building 802 meet the written quality specifications supplied by client.Investigates and responds to customer concerns that result from shipping activities.Reviews written procedures and ensures that work practices match procedures.Writes procedures for work practices.Ensures that quality assurance checks are completed by operators.OPERATION ??? This position is responsible for supervising employees??? work activities that support client???s Building 802.Enforces attendance policy and implements corrective action for violations of this policy for warehouse, janitorial and clerical personnel.Evaluates employees??? performance to ensure that work activities comply with client safety, quality, and production imperatives.Trains employees on work procedures.Reviews and approves employee timesheets via CDMS.Submits payroll for weekly processing.Investigates inventory errors.Oversees completion of inventory counts for recycle and raw materials.Organizes staging of trailers on property and communicates trailer locations for movement.Supervises janitorial staff.Completes housekeeping audits and orders all consumable paper supplies needed site bathrooms, kitchens, and offices.Schedules labor for reworking downgraded material.Provides site tour for new hire candidate.Working hours: 6:00 AM - 6:00 AMSkills:Excel, MS Office, ERP software like SAP, safety management, strong reading comprehension and writing skills, ability to develop training content that prepares employees to accomplish site goals.Education:High SchoolExperience:7-10 yearsQualifications:B.S. or B.A. preferred. 10 years experience in shipping/receiving management required. Experience in working with internationally recognized quality assurance program required, preferably ISO or TS 16949. Experience in compliance with OSHA standards required.
