Spherion Long Beach is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join a premier logistics facility in Gardena, CA for the peak season. You will manage daily yard and floor operations, loading/unloading container trailers, transporting palletized freight, and operating equipment safely to keep e-commerce and B2B fulfillment moving efficiently.

Responsibilities:
Safely operate powered industrial forklifts (Sit-down/Stand-up) to move, stack, and stage palletized goods.
Load and unload inbound/outbound freight from shipping containers, trailers, and staging bays.
Perform pre-shift safety inspections on equipment and report any operational issues.
Assist warehouse teams with heavy material handling, inventory placement, and RF inventory scanning.
Strictly adhere to all warehouse safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and facility protocols.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Skills:
Active or prior Forklift Operator certification.
Experience operating Sit-down, Stand-up Reach Truck, or Order Picker in a 3PL/e-commerce hub.
Familiarity with WMS systems and order management workflows.

Qualifications:
Minimum 1???2 years of verified hands-on forklift operation experience in a warehouse setting.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work 8???10 hour active shifts.
Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday schedule with high-season overtime.
Safety Gear: Steel-toe boots and safety vest required at all times.
