We are hiring for two distinct department roles tailored to your level of experience and job preferences:
1. Production Department (3+ Years Experience): Precision heavy-load sit-down forklift operations supporting active manufacturing lines.
2. Shipping Department (1+ Year Experience): Dynamic hybrid position balancing sit-down forklift work (60%) with hands-on bin tarping and freight securing (40%).
Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday) $16/Hour
Schedule & Hours: 40 to 60 hours per week. High-earning overtime potential with occasional mandatory Saturday shifts and weekday 5:00 AM early start times (2-3 days advance notice provided).
Responsibilities:
1. Production Department
Operate heavy sit-down forklifts to safely pick up, transport, and stage large, heavy structural solar components across the production floor.
Deliver raw materials directly to manufacturing lines to maintain uninterrupted production schedules.
Navigate bulky, oversized loads safely around tight plant aisles and busy work areas.
Perform daily pre-shift forklift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
2. Shipping Department
Balance time between sit-down forklift operations (60%) and physical load-securing tasks (40%).
Cover, tarp, strap, and bundle shipping bins and outbound components for secure transport.
Load and unload flatbeds, trailers, and shipping containers in accordance with delivery schedules.
Inspect outgoing shipments for quality, accuracy, and proper weatherproofing.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
Previous experience in steel fabrication, heavy manufacturing, or the solar energy sector.
Prior internal facility or OSHA-compliant forklift certification.
Experience handling long cargo, tubing, structural steel, or non-standard industrial loads.
Experience utilizing staging equipment, overhead cranes, or strapping tools.

Production Dept: 3+ years of continuous sit-down forklift experience, specifically handling large, heavy, or oversized materials.
Shipping Dept: 1+ year of sit-down forklift experience with a strong willingness to perform physical labor (tarping, tying, and securing bins).
Schedule Availability: Willingness and capability to work 40 - 60 hours per week, including early 5:00 AM weekday starts (with advance notice) and mandatory Saturday shifts when required.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in a fast-paced industrial environment, and perform manual tasks such as pulling heavy tarps over shipping containers.
Safety Focus: Proven track record of adhering to strict OSHA and facility safety guidelines.
Reliability: Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential.
