Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM (with occasional Saturday morning overtime, 7:30 AM - 10:00 AM) Pay Rate: $19.94/hr starting wage
Responsibilities:
Operational Support: Assist leadership with daily shipping, receiving, and warehousing workflows to keep production moving smoothly.
Safety Leadership: Maintain a secure environment by inspecting forklifts, dock areas, staging zones, and safety equipment daily.
Inventory & Order Accuracy: Verify product fit on loads, double-check the accuracy of picked/staged orders, and assist with warehouse consolidation and inventory control audits.
Problem Solving: Utilize logistics data and reports to catch inconsistencies or operational bottlenecks, reporting issues directly to management.
Team Collaboration: Actively participate in team meetings to align workflows across shifts and ensure strong department communication.
Skills:
Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel) or a strong aptitude for quickly learning proprietary, specialized logistics and inventory software.
Leadership Traits: Ability to naturally assist with day-to-day operational efforts, help guide workflow across shifts, and keep coworkers informed during team meetings.
Qualifications:
Equipment Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience safely operating forklifts.
Logistics Background: Solid, practical background working within busy shipping and receiving environments.
Core Dependability: Excellent attendance record and strong verbal communication skills.
