      We have partnered with a fast paced provider of dairy products and services now hiring a Director of Plant Operations for their Baconton, GA location. This is a great immediate direct hire opportunity, with full benefits!Job Summary: Responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of a high level of customer service in each of the manufacturing facilities. To routinely review goals and objectives, including expense budgets and standards of manufacturing processes and customer service, of the facilities reporting to this position. Additionally, this position will act as a conduit for sharing the information and applications of best practices and for the provision and prioritization of corporate staff resources and utilization and disseminate information to the CEO and/or Board of Directors. In Conjunction with peers, this role will be responsible to undertake network planning and analysis, monitor capital spending for facilities and equipment, engage in strategic planning process, and provide all necessary support to the entities served by this position.Responsibilities:-Key member of the operational business team, responsible for assisting in developing operations and supply chain strategy, including recommending capital improvements and talent deployment of the business unit.-Responsible for establishing operations strategy, objectives, best practices, tools, and metrics to deliver ???best in class??? performance across the Supply Chain (direct and indirect reports).-Manage cross-functional design and implement end-to-end supply chain capabilities and strategies based upon business plans and objectives and new business opportunities based on constantly changing market needs and goals.-Develop short and long-term plans (including facilities, materials, and talent development) to meet customer, industry, business and financial requirements while driving continuous and sustainable improvements. -Assures compliance of facilities operations with company policy and Federal, state and local regulations.-Manage/create established Dairy manufacturing policies and strategies in the areas of Lean Manufacturing techniques, materials usage, shipping and receiving, capacity planning, production scheduling, safety, and performance measures.-Reviews and evaluates cost effectiveness, consistency, quality, accuracy and performance of Dairy and/or other plant operations to standards and takes action as necessary to correct discrepancies.Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:-Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. -Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. -Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.-Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. -Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. -Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. -Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.-Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. -Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.-Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. -Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.) in its most difficult phases. -Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.Education:Bachelors
