Responsibilities:
Operate hand tools, power tools, and finishing equipment safely
Inspect parts for defects, inconsistencies, or surface imperfections
Follow production instructions, work orders, and supervisor requests
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Meet daily production goals while maintaining high quality standards
Work collaboratively with fabrication, welding, and production teams
Adhere to all safety procedures and PPE requirements
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Preferred Skills
Experience in steel fabrication or custom metal parts
Familiarity with blueprint reading or basic measurement tools
Knowledge of surface finishing standards
Education:
No Degree Required
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Metal fabrication experience in a production or manufacturing environment
Ability to stand for lengthy periods (entire shift as needed)
Good work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Ability to understand and follow requests, instructions, and shop procedures
Consistent work history with good attendance
Experience using grinders, sanders, or similar finishing tools preferred
Ability to lift, move, and handle metal parts as required
