Responsibilities:
Safety & Health Management: Maintain the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) and manage programs for Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Respiratory Protection, and Heat Illness.
Hazard Control: Conduct assessments across production areas, manage PPE programs, and lead incident investigations with follow-up corrective actions.
Environmental Oversight: Handle Hazardous Materials Business Plans (HMBP), CERS reporting, and hazardous waste inspections/manifests.
Training & Drills: Deliver safety training to all employees and contractors; coordinate emergency drills and fire prevention.
Reporting: Track EHS metrics and support stormwater and spill prevention programs.
Operational Support: Support contractor safety and provide flexibility for alternate shifts when needed.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
ndustry Experience: 2 to 4 years of EHS experience specifically within a manufacturing environment.
Advanced Certifications: HAZWOPER, RCRA, DOT Hazmat, CHST, or ASP.
Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to drive "continuous improvement" efforts.

Language: Full bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
Regulatory Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Cal/OSHA and environmental compliance.
Certifications: OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR/AED.
Education: Associate or Bachelor???s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Technical: Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods in a warehouse environment.
