1. Health, Safety & Environmental- Develop, implement, and maintain company safety policies, procedures, and programs.- Conduct regular jobsite safety inspections and audits.- Ensure compliance with OSHA, federal, state, and local safety regulations.- Lead accident, incident, and near-miss investigations and implement corrective actions.- Conduct employee safety training, new hire orientations, and continuing education programs.- Maintain all required safety records, documentation, and reporting requirements.- Assist project teams in developing site-specific safety plans and risk mitigation strategies.- Promote a proactive safety culture across all company operations.2. Risk Management & Compliance- Identify operational, safety, and business risks and develop mitigation strategies.- Maintain company compliance documentation, certifications, licenses, and regulatory filings.- Assist with contract risk reviews, insurance requirements, and compliance obligations.- Coordinate accident reporting, claims documentation, and corrective action implementation.- Support company leadership in developing and maintaining risk management initiatives.3. Fleet, Equipment & Asset Management- Maintain a complete inventory of company-owned vehicles, trailers, equipment, tools, and major assets.- Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs for all company vehicles and equipment.- Coordinate vehicle registrations, inspections, licensing, toll accounts, and related compliance requirements.- Track warranties, service records, maintenance schedules, and replacement planning.- Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities with vendors and service providers.- Monitor equipment utilization and assist management with capital asset planning and replacement recommendations.- Maintain records of company asset assignments and accountability.4. Insurance Administration & Liaison- Serve as the primary liaison between the organization and insurance carriers, brokers, and agents.- Assist in managing and coordinating annual renewals for all insurance policies. - Maintain insurance schedules, vehicle schedules, equipment schedules, and policy records.- Coordinate Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and subcontractor insurance compliance.
4-7 years
- OSHA 500 Certification (Preferred)- CHST-Construction Health & Safety Technician (Preferred)- CSP - Certified Safety Professional (Preferred)- First Aid / CPR Certification (Preferred)- Experience working with commercial insurance programs and claims administration preferred.- Experience managing vehicle fleets, heavy equipment, or company assets preferred.-
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction safety, risk management, fleet management, asset management, insurance administration, or a related field.- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.- OSHA 30-Hour Certification (Required)- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and cloud-based file management systems.- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.- Ability to learn and grow, while solving problems in the field- Valid Texas Drivers License- Clean motor vehicle record & drug screen- Reliable transportation to and from Headquarters located in Navasota, along with project jobsites located within 1 hour of Headquarters.
