Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, leave programs, and wellness initiativesServe as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, providing clear guidance and issue resolutionCoordinate annual open enrollment, including employee communications, system updates, and vendor coordinationProcess benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations in HRIS and benefits platformsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA)Reconcile benefits billing, resolve discrepancies, and work with payroll to ensure accurate deductionsPartner with benefits brokers and vendors to manage plans, resolve issues, and evaluate program effectivenessPrepare reports and metrics related to benefits participation, costs, and utilizationSupport audits and assist with benefits-related documentation and recordkeepingContribute to continuous improvement of benefits processes, communications, and employee education
4-7 years
Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, CEBS)Experience supporting multi-state or large employee populationsFamiliarity with benefits compliance reporting and auditsStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret benefits data and trendsExperience working with benefits brokers and insurance carriersAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience with ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)6+ years of experience in HR benefits administrationStrong knowledge of employee benefits programs and applicable employment laws and regulationsExperience working with HRIS and benefits administration systemsHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretionStrong communication and customer service skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
