Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning & Workforce Design: Collaborate with executive leadership to align personnel strategies, organizational design, and long-term workforce planning with overarching business goals.Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Build and facilitate end-to-end recruitment strategies to attract top talent. Standardize onboarding and review metrics to evaluate both professional competence and cultural alignment.Employee Relations & Culture: Serve as a confidential mediator and trusted partner across all departments. Promote a positive work environment, resolve disputes, conduct investigations when necessary, and champion a culture built on fairness and mutual respect.Performance Management: Develop and oversee performance frameworks that provide staff with constructive feedback, growth opportunities, and meaningful recognition.Compensation & Benefits: Partner with Finance to design, manage, and optimize competitive salary structures and employee benefit packages.Compliance & Policy Administration: Monitor federal and state labor laws, maintain secure records, and regularly update employee handbooks to protect the organization legally while maintaining a supportive workplace culture.Safety & Risk Screening: Oversee compliance protocols, background checks, and safety screenings for relevant staff and volunteer programs.Budgeting: Work alongside the finance department to prepare and manage the annual personnel budget for maximum efficiency.

What You Bring to the TableEducation & Experience: Bachelor?s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field, along with 1-3 years of progressive, well-rounded HR experience.Broad HR Expertise: Hands-on experience across talent acquisition, compensation/benefits, employee relations, compliance, and staff development.Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hands-on experience with HRIS/payroll systems (experience with ADP is a strong plus).Communication & Discretion: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport across all levels of the organization and handle sensitive, detailed situations with absolute confidentiality.Leadership & Training: A natural capability to train, mentor, and guide managers and staff through organizational changes and HR processes.Culture Alignment: A passion for supporting organizational values and fostering a collaborative, people-first work environment.
