Responsibilities:
HR Execution & Strategy: Support the implementation of people strategies, workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational alignment.
Employee & Labor Relations: Maintain open communication across all levels, handle workplace investigations, and foster strong, collaborative relationships with employees, management, and the union.
Recruiting & Talent Management: Define candidate profiles to attract top talent, facilitate performance management/calibration, and guide leadership on people development.
Training & Compensation: Organize employee training programs and administer equitable, performance-based compensation structures.
Engagement & Safety: Drive employee engagement initiatives and champion people-related safety goals on the floor.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Experience supporting labor relations, including mediation, arbitration, and union grievance processes.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access) and experienced with an HRIS system (such as UKG).
Strong analytical, data-driven, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Experience: 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or Representative specifically within a Manufacturing Plant, Distribution Center, Sales, or DSD environment.
Change Management: Proven experience implementing a change project within a non-corporate setting (e.g., rolling out new service or benefit concepts to floor staff).
HR Core Competencies: Strong background in recruitment, employee relations, coaching, performance management, and employee communications.
Legal Knowledge: Solid understanding of basic HR laws and applications.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation/training skills.
Exceptional time management with the ability to prioritize projects and meet strict deadlines.
