Position Overview
An Industrial Mechanic Assistant works under the supervision of senior mechanics to help install, assemble, and set up new assembly line equipment and machinery in industrial settings. This entry-level position provides valuable hands-on experience in industrial mechanics while supporting the efficiency and success of assembly line installations.

Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
Assist lead mechanics with the assembly and installation of manufacturing equipment
Help position, level, and secure machinery according to specifications
Organize tools, parts, and components needed for assembly line installation
Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions
Assist with basic mechanical adjustments and calibrations
Help conduct operational tests after installation
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Track inventory of installation materials and supplies
Document installation progress and completed work
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED (technical/vocational training preferred)
Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of tools
Ability to read and follow technical instructions
Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Strong attention to detail
Reliable and punctual with good teamwork skills
Willingness to learn industrial mechanical systems

1-4 years

Previous experience with hand tools
