Responsibilities:
Surface Preparation: Perform thorough surface prep including degreasing, sanding, and masking. Utilize abrasive blasting (sandblasting) to achieve required surface profiles on steel fabrications.
Coating Application: Mix and apply primers, enamels, and high-performance industrial coatings (epoxies, urethanes) using airless, air-assisted, or electrostatic spray systems.
Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain spray guns, pumps, and booths. Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize production downtime.
Quality Control: Inspect finished products for uniform thickness, color consistency, and defects (runs, sags, or "orange peel").
Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE and respirators, and ensure the safe handling/disposal of hazardous materials according to SDS guidelines.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Qualifications:
Experience: 2+ years of experience in industrial or automotive painting (experience with heavy equipment or truck bodies is a plus).
Technical Skills: Proficiency with sandblasting equipment and various spray gun technologies. Knowledge of mixing ratios and viscosity requirements for industrial coatings.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a manufacturing environment that may involve fumes and noise (with provided PPE).
