Responsibilities:
System Maintenance: Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair ammonia refrigeration equipment, compressed air, steam, cooling systems, and water treatment equipment.
Electrical & Mechanical Repair: Fix and maintain electrical controls, AC/DC systems, electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, and blowers.
Preventative Maintenance (PM): Perform routine PMs on mechanical assets including warehouse equipment like wrap machines, dock doors, locks, and levelers.
Compliance & Safety: Follow and document work records to strictly adhere to OSHA, EPA, USDA, PSM, and IIAR safety compliance guidelines.
Crisis Response: Promptly respond to emergency breakdown calls with the necessary tools to safely diagnose root causes and prevent recurring failures.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
An Associate degree, Vocational Diploma, or Technical Diploma from a maintenance or technical school.
Previous experience working under strict Process Safety Management (PSM) program guidelines.

1-4 years
Qualifications:
Certification: Valid Ammonia Refrigeration Certification is required.
Safety Readiness: Must be able to pass a pulmonary function test and safely wear respiratory protection equipment.
Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems for troubleshooting and repair.
Experience & Education:
High School Diploma/GED and 1+ years of industrial maintenance or food manufacturing environment experience OR
4+ years of direct experience in industrial mechanical or food manufacturing maintenance.
Equipment Operation: Ability to operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts, genie lifts, or scissor lifts.
Physical Demands: Ability to work in varying temperatures (extreme heat/cold) and wet/humid environments; ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
