This position is vital to our plant's supply chain and requires high physical endurance, attention to detail, and strict adherence to workplace safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
Safely load, unload, and stage plant materials, products, and equipment onto outbound flatbeds, trailers, or box trucks.
Secure all freight using chains, straps, binders, or dunnage to ensure load stability during transit.
Review shipping orders, manifests, and bill of lading (BOL) documents to verify correct quantities and item descriptions.
Inspect outgoing cargo for damage and ensure proper axle weight distribution across trucks.
Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other material handling equipment safely.
Maintain a clean, hazard-free work zone in loading bays and yard areas.
Strict compliance with plant safety procedures, PPE mandates, and OSHA standards.
Working hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Prior experience in industrial plant operations, shipping/receiving, or material handling is a plus.
Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain certification on the job).
Strong work ethic, safety-first mindset, and reliable attendance for various full-time schedules.
Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications:
This role requires rigorous physical labor in a fast-paced plant environment. Applicants must be capable of the following throughout an entire full-time shift:
Heavy Lifting: Frequently lift, carry, and maneuver heavy plant items and equipment (50+ lbs unassisted).
Constant Movement: Continuous standing, walking across industrial floors/yards, bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling heavy loads.
Climbing & Reaching: Ability to climb onto truck beds, trailers, or platforms, and perform frequent reaching both above and below shoulder height.
Environmental Endurance: Comfort working in non-climate-controlled plant environments, Cold/Hot conditions year-round.
