The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate records and optimizing the flow of goods within the organization. Responsibilities:
-Oversee the ordering, storing, receiving, and distribution of products and supplies
-Ensure that inventory levels are maintained to meet customer demand without overstocking
-Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular audits, and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and inventory reports
-Work closely with purchasing, logistics, and sales teams to coordinate inventory flows and ensure timely replenishment of stock
-Generate inventory reports to monitor stock levels, identify trends, and forecast future inventory needs
-Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions to prevent future issues
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Certification in supply chain management can be a plus.
Education:
Bachelors
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
-Bachelor???s degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field is often preferred
-Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel is essential for tracking and analyzing inventory data.
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial for maintaining accurate inventory records.
-The role may require lifting and moving heavy items, so physical stamina is important.
