Do you see a dollar sign every time you see a misplaced part? We're looking for an Inventory Control Specialist who understands that accuracy isn't just a number—it's the bedrock of an efficient warehouse operation.
Our client, a respected leader in their industry, needs a detail-obsessed professional to join their 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM team. This isn't just about counting boxes; it's about being the first line of defense against costly errors, investigating variances, and ensuring we know exactly what we have and where it is.
If you have a knack for systematic processes and a proven track record using an RF scanner to master inventory, let's talk.
What You'll Be Doing (The Core Mission):
...
The Auditor: Systematically conduct regular, targeted cycle counts to verify stock levels against WMS data in designated zones.
The Investigator: Research and resolve root causes of inventory discrepancies, documenting variances and proposing solutions to prevent recurrence.
The Operator: Utilize material handling equipment (like forklifts or order pickers) to efficiently reach and inspect inventory as required.
The Partner: Work seamlessly with Receiving, Picking, and Shipping teams to ensure product flow aligns with inventory records.
The Data Master: Accurately input count and audit data using RF scanners and internal warehouse management systems.
What You Need to Be Successful:
Experience: 1-4 years of hands-on experience in a warehouse setting, with a strong focus on inventory control practices.
Tools of the Trade: Direct experience using RF scanners and familiarity with standard inventory or WMS software.
The Right Mindset: Exceptional attention to detail and organizational habits—you believe a clean, systematic area is critical for accurate inventory.
Physical Demands: Comfort with standing and walking for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and operating material handling equipment (certification a plus).
Schedule Flexibility: Readiness to work the 2nd shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM) and maintain flexibility for occasional non-standard hours, including full physical inventory counts.
No Degree Required. Your practical experience and demonstrated commitment to inventory accuracy are what matter most.
If you're ready to make a measurable impact and take ownership of critical inventory integrity, apply today!
