As an Inventory Control Specialist, you'll be a key player in our distribution center, responsible for maintaining precise inventory records and optimizing our stock management processes. You'll work closely with various departments to ensure our inventory is always accounted for and ready to go.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cycle counts and physical inventories to guarantee accuracy.
- Track and manage all inventory movements in and out of the warehouse.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between our system and physical stock.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with warehouse and receiving teams to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Help implement and enforce best practices for inventory control and safety.
Working hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
- Previous experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a similar role on resume
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- Effective communication skills.
- Experience with forklifts or other warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
