Spherion Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Inventory Specialist/Coordinator to manage and oversee our physical inventory and ensure accurate record-keeping within our NetSuite system. This crucial role will be responsible for the accurate and efficient receipt of incoming inventory, coordination of warehouse organization in collaboration with operations leadership, and maintaining precise onsite inventory counts. Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, $60,000-$70,000/year
Responsibilities:
Receive and accurately process all incoming physical inventory, ensuring alignment with purchase orders (POs).
Enter and reconcile received inventory within the NetSuite system in a timely and accurate manner.
Collaborate closely with operations leaders to optimize warehouse organization and ensure efficient storage and retrieval of inventory.
Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, working with relevant departments to implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of all inventory movements, adjustments, and disposals.
Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices.
Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams regarding inventory-related issues. ??
Generate inventory reports as needed to provide insights into stock levels and potential issues.
Contribute to a safe and organized warehouse environment.
Perform other inventory-related duties as assigned.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).

High School
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
Proven experience with inventory management software, preferably NetSuite.
Strong understanding of inventory receiving and control procedures.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain meticulous records.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
