Responsibilities:
- Review and approve IRIS budget amendments and one-time expense requests to ensure they meet program guidelines
- Manage documentation for fair hearings and appeals while remediating background check issues
- Analyze quality assurance findings to identify trends and recommend improvements for program operations
- Provide technical assistance and training to vendors and stakeholders on state and federal rule interpretations
- Collaborate with partners to resolve participant-specific complaints or concerns effectively
- Prepare and present policy-related materials at conferences, seminars, and internal meetings
Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of care management principles for adults with disabilities and frail elders
- Understanding of state and federal statutes governing Medical Assistance programs
- Acure analytical skills with a high level of detail orientation
- Experience with person-centered planning and HIPAA confidentiality requirements
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to facilitate resolution for difficult feedback
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel within Wisconsin as needed
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
