Responsibilities:
Supervise, schedule, and support maintenance and irrigation technicians in executing daily field operations and service requests.
Manage, synchronize, and adjust central control irrigation systems (including zone sequencing and water application) to optimize pressure and conserve water.
Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain automatic irrigation systems, electrical components, control equipment, piping, and backflow preventers.
Monitor pump stations, lake water usage, and fuel consumption to maintain operational efficiency.
Oversee preventive maintenance and logging for fleet vehicles and groundskeeping equipment using tracking tools.
Serve as an operational liaison between landscapers and management regarding turf health and grounds upkeep across neighborhoods.
Prepare irrigation improvement quotes and maintain proactive communications regarding property maintenance activities.
Review and approve biweekly timecards for team members and respond to emergency maintenance or irrigation calls as needed.
Working hours: Various Shifts Available
Skills:
Experience using myTurf Pro for equipment tracking and Jobber or Buildium for scheduling and dispatching.
Knowledge of Florida commercial applicator practices or turf management.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Hands on proficiency with the Toro Lynx Central Control System.
Strong technical background in general irrigation maintenance, low voltage electrical components, small transformers, and mechanical repairs.
Proven leadership ability to manage field staff, delegate assignments, and review timecards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong follow up and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work comfortably outdoors in Florida weather conditions with continuous physical mobility around properties.
Valid Driver???s License.
High school diploma or equivalent.
