Setup and Deployment: Perform configuration, setup, and deployment of new and replacement computers, mobile devices, and peripherals.Technical Troubleshooting & Support: Provide timely and effective support for IT issues, including:Remote Access: Setup and troubleshoot VPN connections and remote desktop services for employees across various sites.Peripherals & Networking: Configure, install, and troubleshoot network printers, scanners, and shared network drive access.Software Support: Provide support for a wide array of business applications and proprietary software.Factory Floor Support: Troubleshoot network devices, computers, and specialized equipment operating in a manufacturing environment.Cybersecurity Management: Assist with basic cybersecurity protocols, including antivirus management, security patch verification, and adherence to company policies.Documentation and Ticketing: Utilize service management software to accurately log, track, and resolve support tickets. A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in an IT Helpdesk or technical support role.Some level of familiarity or working knowledge of Active Directory (managing user accounts, groups, and permissions).Experience with service management software (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk, ConnectWise, etc.) for efficient ticket handling.Experience with or a strong willingness to learn knowledge base management best practices.Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network connectivity issues.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong commitment to user satisfaction.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.A valid driver's license and the ability to occasionally travel within the area for local site support (if applicable).
