Responsibilities:
Lead & Execute: Technical solution design, system analysis, and software development for new applications, system enhancements, and modernization efforts on IBM i (AS/400) platforms.
Develop & Maintain: High-performing code using RPG and SQL to support, maintain, and optimize existing and new applications.
Document & Plan: Technical design specifications, integration blueprints, and comprehensive user manuals while accurately estimating scope and timelines.
Integrate & Transfer: Robust data-sending frameworks and communications protocols between core internal platforms and external enterprise systems like SAP.
Test & Validate: End-to-end integration workflows, user acceptance testing (UAT), and test execution plans to guarantee operational reliability.
Troubleshoot & Support: Tier-level production issues by evaluating job logs, spool files, ACDs, and performance metrics to ensure rapid resolution.
Deploy & Collaborate: Production releases smoothly within Agile (Scrum/Kanban) frameworks, adhering strictly to enterprise architectural and compliance standards.

Agile Methodologies: Practical experience working within structured Scrum or Kanban framework environments.
ERP Experience: Familiarity with automotive or third-party logistics supply chain software integrations.

Qualifications:
RPG & IBM i Expertise: Proven hands-on experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting applications using RPG, SQL, and ACDs on IBM i (AS/400) systems.
SDLC & Design: Strong background creating technical design specifications, estimating timelines, and architecting solutions across full development lifecycles.
Enterprise Integration: Demonstrated experience building data-transfer frameworks and coordinating blueprints for major enterprise integrations (e.g., SAP).
System Troubleshooting: Advanced ability to evaluate job logs, system metrics, and spool files to resolve complex application and performance issues.
