In this role, you will ensure the technology infrastructure runs smoothly. You will handle daily support tickets and lead specific projects related to desktop management. This position requires a candidate who is comfortable communicating with staff members across all departments.
Position Highlights
Consistent Schedule: The core hours are Monday through Friday, providing a stable routine.
Active Work Environment: This role involves more than sitting at a desk. You will travel to different sites and manage physical inventory, which adds variety to the work week.
Team Collaboration: You will work within an IT department that relies on peer support and cooperation to solve complex issues.
Project Experience: You will have the responsibility to lead desktop-related projects, which allows you to demonstrate your organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
Your main objective is to maintain computer systems and assist employees with technical difficulties. Specific tasks include:
1. Hardware Maintenance: You will install, troubleshoot, and repair x86 computer hardware, printers, and peripheral devices.
2. System Administration: You will install and support Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
3. Network Support: You will assist with cabling and maintain LAN/WAN connectivity using TCP/IP protocols.
4. Inventory Management: You will track and manage IT assets and inventory systems.
5. Communication: You will explain technical solutions to colleagues in a professional and clear manner.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Associate degree in Computer Science field
Professional PC-related certifications.
Education:
Associate
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Must have 3 to 5 years of proven experience in an IT Support capacity.
Must possess strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft Office products.
Must understand networking principles, including cabling and TCP/IP.
Must be able to travel for work. This includes occasional overnight trips and weekend work to meet business needs.
