Responsibilities:
Enter, review, and maintain certified payroll data across multiple internal software platforms.
Prepare and submit certified payroll reports through government portals for municipal public works projects.
Verify payroll information for accuracy prior to submission and correct discrepancies promptly.
Support compliance with prevailing wage requirements and applicable labor regulations.
Coordinate with internal payroll teams after each payroll cycle to complete required reporting.
Maintain organized electronic records, shared-drive documentation, PDFs, and supporting payroll files.
Utilize DIR systems and other regulatory or government reporting platforms as required.
Manage high-volume, repetitive data entry while consistently meeting established deadlines.
Follow established procedures, work independently, and ask clarifying questions when needed.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
Certified payroll experience supporting regional city, county, or public works projects.
Experience with union payroll, construction payroll, or prevailing wage compliance.
Previous contract, project-based, or high-volume payroll experience.

Qualifications:
Hands-on certified payroll experience (minimum a few months); general payroll experience alone is not sufficient.
Working knowledge of certified payroll reporting processes and prevailing wage concepts.
Strong data entry skills with high accuracy, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to comfortably navigate multiple software systems, databases, web-based portals, PDFs, and shared electronic files.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and general computer applications.
Ability to reliably complete repetitive, manual reporting workflows on a recurring basis.
Effective verbal communication skills and a willingness to ask questions when clarification is needed.
