In this role, you will act as a respected, experienced master technician, taking charge of complex mechanical repairs and maintenance schedules to ensure the efficient and safe operation of a large delivery fleet. You will be trusted to work independently to complete maintenance tasks, perform road tests to diagnose problems, and execute both major and minor repairs. As a senior member of the maintenance team, you will not only ensure vehicle reliability but also set a strong example by informally mentoring junior mechanics. Working hours: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM (Various Shifts Available)

Skills:
Advanced commercial diesel mechanic certifications (e.g., ASE Certifications).

Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a commercial transportation, fleet, or distribution environment.

Experience utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to log maintenance schedules, document repairs, and track parts.

Familiarity with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) guidelines for commercial trucks and trailers.

Qualifications:
Education/Experience: High School Diploma / GED or equivalent experience.

Mechanical Expertise: Proven experience as a master diesel mechanic capable of working independently on complex fleet vehicles.

Diagnostic Skills: Ability to perform road tests, accurately diagnose root causes of mechanical issues, and execute both major and minor repairs.

Technical Execution: Skilled in adjusting and replacing brakes, reassembling heavy equipment, and performing routine preventative maintenance.

Leadership: Ability to oversee, train, and informally mentor junior mechanics while taking direction from the maintenance manager.

Safety-Minded: Strict adherence to safety protocols, road regulations, and workplace compliance.

Availability: Must be able to work the designated 3rd-shift schedule.
