Responsibilities:
- Bid Management: Prepare and submit comprehensive bid packages for private and public heavy civil projects.
- Site Analysis: Evaluate soil reports and site conditions to identify potential risks or cost-saving opportunities.
- Strategy: Develop competitive bidding strategies based on equipment availability and historical production data.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure the transition from "estimated" to "built" is seamless.
- Sales: Manage client relationships, follow up on bids, and move business forward.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
- Preferred Education: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
- Preferred previous experience with dirt work.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years esperience in an estimating role, preferably within concrete construction.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in estimating software (Bluebeam) and Excel
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to read and interpret complex civil engineering plans and specifications.
- Calculated Precision: Strong understanding of soil swell/shrinkage factors and production rates for various heavy equipment.
