Responsibilities:
Job Site Leadership: Act as the on-site front leader; drive the company truck/trailer, manage 1???2 helper installers, and ensure the crew works efficiently and safely.

Custom Fabrication: Run and maintain a seamless gutter machine on-site to roll out, measure, and cut custom aluminum or copper gutters to exact specifications.

Precision Installation: Correctly calculate roof pitches and install seamless gutters, downspouts, fascia, soffit, and leaf protection systems on residential and commercial structures.

Quality Control: Inspect completed work to guarantee proper water drainage, flawless sealing, and zero leaks before leaving the job site.

Customer & Client Relations: Serve as the professional face of the company on-site; review job scopes with homeowners or site managers and complete final job walk-throughs.

Safety Enforcement: Ensure the entire crew strictly follows OSHA safety guidelines, particularly regarding ladder safety, fall protection, and PPE.

Inventory & Tool Management: Keep the truck stocked with proper materials (hangers, sealant, elbows) and ensure all power tools and machinery are well-maintained.

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Skills:
Machine Maintenance: Experience calibrating and adjusting 5-inch and 6-inch K-style seamless gutter machines (knowing how to fix a machine when the metal starts warping or tracking crooked).

Advanced Metalwork: Ability to custom-cut and hand-miter corners (inside and outside miters) for a flawless, leak-free finish, rather than just using pre-made strip miters.

Specialized Materials: Experience working with high-end materials like copper, half-round gutters, or custom commercial box gutters.

Carpentry/Fascia Repair: Knowledge of wood rot repair, fascia board replacement, and soffit installation (since gutters often can't be hung on rotted wood).

Construction Math: Ability to calculate roof pitches, square footage, and water runoff requirements to ensure the correct gutter size is used.

Safety Certifications: OSHA 10-Hour or Fall Protection certification is a major plus.

Leadership Experience: Prior experience as a crew leader, crew lead, or running an independent truck.

Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience installing seamless aluminum gutters (residential or commercial).

Equipment Proficiency: Proven experience operating a seamless gutter machine and using standard trade tools (snips, cordless drills, crimpers, levels, and riveters).

Comfort with Heights: Must be 100% comfortable working on extension ladders (up to 32+ feet), walking roofs, and working at various heights safely.

Driver???s License: A valid Driver???s License with a clean driving record is required (must be eligible to drive the company truck and trailer).

Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy ladders and materials weighing up to 50+ lbs regularly, and work outdoors in the Alabama heat.

Basic Math: Ability to accurately use a tape measure down to the 1/16th of an inch and calculate basic slopes for proper water drainage.
