Responsibilities:
Draft, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence, including pleadings, motions, contracts, briefs, and memos.
Prepare documents for electronic filing (e-filing) with federal and state courts.
Organize and maintain physical and electronic case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and accessible.
Manage and maintain attorney calendars, including scheduling appointments, depositions, hearings, and meetings.
Answer and screen phone calls, take messages, and handle client inquiries with professionalism.
Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail and packages.
Serve as a point of contact for clients, opposing counsel, court officials, and vendors.
Assist in the preparation for trials, hearings, and depositions by organizing exhibits, witness binders, and other materials.
Maintain and update case management software with critical deadlines, case statuses, and contact information.
Conduct basic legal research and factual investigation as directed by attorneys.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
3+ years of current experience as a legal assistant, legal secretary, or in a similar administrative role within a law firm or corporate legal department.
Proficiency in the complete Microsoft Office.
Experience with legal software, including case management systems (e.g., Clio, MyCase, ProLaw) and document management systems.
Familiarity with e-filing procedures and platforms.
Meticulous and accurate in all aspects of work.
