Job Description:

Be responsible for inspection, assembly, packaging and deburing of parts and/or material by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities:

• Operates drill presses, punch presses, or riveting machines to assist in assembly operation.
• Inspects, deburs, and properly cleans parts.
• Operate and properly adjust all electric and air torque guns, and understand readings on torque wrenches.
• Use hand tools correctly.
• Must have good material handling skills. 
• Basic shop math.
• Read and understand basic blueprints.
• Read and understand procedures, methods, and routers.
• Complete required documentation.
• Correctly package material for shipment.
• Know basic safety requirements.
• Assemble all units completely and correctly.
• Detect and correct assembly problems.

Education: No formal education required.

Experience: 6 months

Physical:

• Senses - Sight and hearing required; must be able to distinguish color (required particularly for electrical wiring).
• Body Motion - Full range including bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, standing, walking, stepping up and down, full wrist action.
• Weight - Lifting requirements are moderate for this job regularly lifting 25 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 pounds
