Role Highlights:
- Pay rate: $22-24/hr
- Location: Cottage Grove, WI, Fully On-Site
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM- 5PM
- Long Term Temporary Opportunity
What You'll Do:
- Manage carriers, request freight quotes, and optimize shipments for the most cost-effective transportation
- Review sales orders and delivery notes to ensure packing lists are accurate and complete before shipping
- Coordinate customer service communications regarding deliveries and equipment installations
- Provide completed paperwork to the warehouse team to ensure efficient picking and loading
- Work closely with the returns department to process customer returns and file freight claims
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and promote a positive team environment
What You'll Bring:
- High school diploma required; technical college or practical experience is preferred
- Strong understanding of logistics, transportation, distribution, and warehouse operations
- Familiarity with trucking, shipping, and dock operations
- Knowledge of ERP and TMS systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Valid driver's license
