Two shifts available at this Ridgeville location:
Monday - Thursday 8:00pm - 6:30am $22.50 Starts December 15th
Thursday - Sunday 6:00pm - 4:30am $24.50 Starts December 29th
Paid Orientation will be December 15th-31st, 7am-3:30pm, in Summerville
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities (A typical day may include):
Assembly
Assist in the setup and installation of computer server racks according to provided instructions, diagrams, and guidelines.
Handle basic tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete installation tasks.
Be ready for physical movement of large components, pallets, assembly, installation, and usage of mechanical and powered rack moving equipment.
Shipping and Receiving
Unload, uncrate, and move server racks and materials to their destination point.
Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to schedule inbound and outbound shipments.
Prepare shipping documents, labels, and packaging for outgoing shipments.
Unload, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness.
Transport inventory by hand using material handling equipment (i.e., forklifts or pallet jacks) in accordance with all safety procedures and protocol.
Inventory
Assist the receiving teams with accurate systematic processing of all inbound materials on time.
Details and accuracy, counting, and communication skills are NECESSARY.
Comply with Data Center security measures and access controls
Support and Collaboration
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data center operations, procurement, technical support) to fulfill inventory and logistics needs.
Provide support for special projects or initiatives as directed by management.
Complete other assigned duties with consideration for quality, safety, and efficiency
Skills:
Pallet Jack Experience preferred, but not required
Previous Data Center experience a bonus, but not required
Qualifications:
Ability to stand/walk for an entire shift
Ability to bend, squat, twist, and lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to read specs
