Implement daily practices, which will contribute to departmental housekeeping., Perform proficiently in a variety of computer programs including Microsoft Office and department specific software., Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor., Serve as an active member of the PHB team of employees by routinely performing tasks such as: assisting in the training of employees; participating in problem solving activities; reporting workplace safety hazards; suggesting quality improvement methods, etc., Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as feed, speed, coolant flow and depth and angle of cut., Enters commands to retrieve, input or edit computerized machine control media., Sets up and operates machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data., Installs machined replacement parts in mechanisms, machines and equipment and tests operation of unit to ensure functionality and performance., Confers with engineers, production personal, programmers or others to resolve machining problems and optimize programs and tooling., Perform proven setups and ability to make minor edits to programs, Complete gage room documentation for first piece approval
