operation of our pouch machines.
What You'll Do:
- Machine Operation Support: Work directly alongside Pouch Operators to assist with the setup, operation, and cleanup of pouching machinery.
- Quality Assurance: Perform continuous visual and manual quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet strict customer specifications and company standards.
- Material Handling & Staging: Prepare and organize essential equipment and secondary packaging materials, such as boxes and labels, based on the daily production schedule.
- Production Reporting: Maintain accurate records, including quality check sheets and production and waste reports, to track output and efficiency.
- Packaging & Finishing: Package finished products at assigned workstations and prepare shipping cartons with the correct labels as required by work orders.
- Technical Maintenance: Help optimize machine performance by changing rolls, cutting out splices, and reporting any mechanical or safety issues to the operator.
What You'll Bring:
- Education: A High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification is required.
- Physical Capability: The ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active through standing, walking, and bending for the duration of a shift.
- Technical Aptitude: Strong manual dexterity and coordination, including the ability to use basic hand tools and work safely around moving mechanical parts.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent visual acuity, including the ability to maintain color consistency and identify small defects in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional Attributes: A positive learning attitude with the ability to follow complex written and verbal instructions while working effectively in a team.
- Adaptability: Flexibility regarding work schedules and a willingness to cross-train in other departments like lamination or slitting.
