2nd Shift: Afternoon / Evening
3rd Shift: Overnight / Early Morning
Pay Range: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour (Based on experience and shift)
Job Summary & Responsibilities
As a Machine Operator, you will be at the heart of the printing process, ensuring high-quality materials are produced efficiently and accurately.
Equipment Operation: Set up, monitor, and operate high-speed digital printing or finishing machinery.
Quality Control: Perform regular visual inspections to ensure all printed materials meet strict client specifications.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve minor mechanical issues or paper jams to minimize production downtime.
Material Handling: Load paper, ink, and essential supplies into machines; move finished products to the staging area.
Safety & Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant workspace at all times.
Candidate Requirements
Preferred Skills:
Experience: Previous background in manufacturing, warehouse, or specifically the commercial printing industry.
Technical Aptitude: Experience using basic hand tools and comfort operating digital interfaces or computer-controlled machinery.
Qualifications:
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for the duration of an 8–10 hour shift and lift up to 40 lbs.
Detail-Oriented: A keen eye for spotting small errors in a fast-paced environment.
Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and consistent attendance.
Communication: Strong verbal skills to coordinate effectively with team leads and during shift hand-offs.
