Machine Operator is responsible for the equipment and ensure proper set up, start up, shut-down procedures and safe operation. The operator will play a key role in improving safety, quality, productivity, and cost on existing manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
*Champion a safety-first culture by strictly adhering to all organizational standards and PPE regulations.

* Manage the full cycle of equipment operation (set-up, start-up, and shut-down) and perform regular inspections to detect and resolve malfunctions.
*Support existing automation systems and use basic PLC programming knowledge to monitor and maintain system health.
*Identify and reset basic mechanical, electrical, and computer system alerts; interpret maintenance procedures to keep the line moving.
*Efficiently feed raw materials into hoppers and designated devices to maintain steady output.
*Utilize precision tools like calipers and interpret SPC charts/trends to ensure all products meet strict quality metrics.
*Partner with engineers and supervisors to plan work, resolve production bottlenecks, and train fellow team members on assembly techniques.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
* Proficiency in basic shop math, including decimals, fractions, and conversions (metric to imperial).
* Comfortable with 100% standing and lifting up to 50 lbs
Education:
No Degree Required
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
*Functional understanding of PLC programming and automation logic.
*Ability to read and follow technical maintenance manuals and procedures.
*Proficiency with quality measurement tools and a keen eye for detail.
*Strong communication skills for team-based problem solving.
