Responsibilities:
Your daily functions will focus on machine operation, material handling, and maintaining safety standards:
Machine Operation: Set up and operate welding machines (bottom, projection, seam, and rod stack), horn presses, shears, brakes, flanges, and expanders.
Production Support: Perform tasks across various work centers including layout, cover punch, paint booth, and tank unhang.
Material Handling: Position, hang, and remove transformer tanks and parts from powered overhead conveyors; operate hoists and potentially powered industrial trucks (forklifts).
Technical Compliance: Work from oven pick lists, Process Quality Plans (PQP), and other written or verbal instructions.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine upkeep on machines and utilize manual or powered hand tools and simple measuring devices.
Safety & Environment: Properly handle and dispose of chemicals and waste; maintain strict adherence to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements.
Working hours: Various Shifts Available
Skills:
Must be able to read and comprehend safety, quality, and operating instructions; must be able to perform basic math functions.
Ability to manually handle medium-to-heavy weight materials and perform all essential physical functions of the job in a shop environment (heat/noise).

Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Prior relevant experience in a manufacturing or welding environment.
