Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Safely operate all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow OSHA, EPA, and internal safety protocols.
Adhere to Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and all safety-related regulations.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and instructions to determine specifications.
Cut, bend, weld, and shape metal parts using saws, grinders, drill presses, lathes, and other fabrication equipment.
Assemble finished products from raw materials in accordance with technical specifications.
Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, including die swaps, roll changes, and troubleshooting issues.
Operate and maintain grinders, lathes, milling machines, and other equipment.
Interpret measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and electrical meters.
Conduct full system cleanouts and maintain extrusion equipment.
Complete preventative and corrective maintenance tasks, including mechanical repairs and system upgrades.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
Assist with facility maintenance including groundskeeping, lighting, painting, and snow removal.
Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PITs) upon successful completion of training and certification.
Collaborate effectively with peers across shifts and departments.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Skilled in using heavy machinery.
Proficient with fabrication tools.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Welding certifications (MIG, TIG, Stick, or Wire Wheel) preferred.
2?3 years of fabrication or machinist experience.
Manufacturing or fabrication background preferred.
