Responsibilities:
? Provide machining, welding, fabrication, and repair support for nonwoven production
equipment and plant operations.
? Evaluate machining and fabrication requirements and provide practical solutions for
equipment repairs and modifications.
? Repair, fabricate, and modify parts, tools, fixtures, and mechanical components used in
production and maintenance.
? Operate CNC milling machines, lathes, grinders, and other machine-shop equipment.
? Read and properly interpret CAD drawings, mechanical drawings, dimensions, and
specifications for manufacturing and assembly.
? Measure and inspect machined and fabricated parts to ensure proper dimensions, fit, and
function.
? Perform aluminum and cast welding, as well as related cutting, grinding, drilling, and
fabrication work.
? Assist with the repair, modification, installation, and maintenance of machinery used in
the nonwoven manufacturing process.

? Troubleshoot mechanical equipment issues and determine appropriate machining,
welding, or fabrication solutions.
? Work with Maintenance and Production personnel to minimize equipment downtime and
support continuous production.
? Train and provide guidance to other employees on machining, welding, and related tasks
when required.
? Safely operate and maintain machine-shop, welding, and fabrication equipment.
? Follow all maintenance procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, PPE requirements, and
company safety protocols.
? Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
? Perform additional machining, welding, fabrication, and maintenance duties as assigned.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Skills:
Industrial Maintenance & Safety: Experience with continuous manufacturing equipment (e.g., nonwovens), root-cause troubleshooting, and safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE.

Mechanical Systems & Preventive Maintenance: Hands-on experience working with maintenance teams to repair compression seals, drive shafts, and motor gearboxes, as well as assisting with scheduled preventive maintenance.

Teamwork & Technical Mentorship: Ability to train and guide junior staff while collaborating across departments to minimize equipment downtime.

Qualifications:
Machining Equipment Operation: Hands-on proficiency operating CNC milling machines, full lathes, mini lathes, drill presses, grinders, and standard machine-shop machinery.

Welding & Fabrication: Practical experience with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, as well as cutting, grinding, drilling, and structural metal fabrication.

Technical Blueprint & CAD Reading: Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings, CAD files, mechanical schematics, dimensions, and tolerances.

Precision Inspection: Skill in using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to ensure proper fit, tolerance, and operational function.

Mechanical Troubleshooting & Repair: Ability to diagnose machine failures and fabricate, repair, or rebuild broken components, tools, jigs, and fixtures.
