Responsible for assisting the Maintenance Manager with all electrical and mechanical servicing and efficient maintenance of production machinery and equipment, physical plant, utilities and grounds in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures to ensure minimum equipment downtime, promote a safe working environment, reduce waste and lower equipment operating and maintenance support costs.

Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance technicians, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and providing feedback on performance to the Maintenance Manager.
Works with Maintenance Manager to schedule and facilitate a preventative maintenance program to maintain production machinery and equipment in proper working condition.
Analyze and test electrical/electronic and mechanical systems. Diagnose causes and failures and repair as necessary.
Inspects jobs in process and at completion to ensure that standards of workmanship, schedule and safety are maintained.
Ensures proper maintenance of facility, machinery and buildings.
Maintains inventories of maintenance material, supplies, and repair parts at required levels by initiating requisitions for purchase; periodically reviews all inventory for proper upkeep of plant facilities.
Recommends, plans, and implements equipment needs to improve production efficiency and/or cost reduction procedures. Establish a pattern on continuous improvement.
Diagnoses and replaces damaged or broken parts, wires and cables on machinery.
Assists in planning a work schedule to repair, rebuild, or overhaul all types of production equipment and repair or manufacture machine parts.
Enforce safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for maintenance technicians and other plant personnel.
Coordinate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance activities that minimize disruptions to production processes.
Inspect equipment, machinery, and facilities regularly to identify maintenance needs and prioritize repair activities.
Maintain accurate records utilizing CMMS system of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment maintenance logs, and inventory spare parts.
Train and mentor maintenance technicians on proper maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and use of equipment.
Monitor and help identify opportunities for cost savings.
Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in maintenance management, and work with Maintenance Manager to implement relevant improvements in plant maintenance processes.

Trade School with focus on industrial electrical/electronic and mechanical maintenance preferred.
Bachelor???s Degree Major: Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology
Knowledge and experience with cutting/forming machinery and mechanical presses.
Min 5 years related work experience, preferably in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
